Espresso Quote Shot: Frankl

image of espresso shotFor the meaning of life differs from man to man, from day to day and from hour to hour. What matters, therefore, is not the meaning of life in general but rather the specific meaning of a person’s life at a given moment.

Hi Steve, that definitely was a ‘shot’ of Kappuccino! I almost need another one!

I can’t tell you how many forests I haven’t seen because those darn trees are in the way.

Funny really isn’t it that we often don’t see what we have in front of us.

I try to go forward in life now with my eyes wide open. So far, so good.

    Thanks for the inspiration.

I am not sure about the meaning of the quote but the meaning of this quote for me is… Everything happens for a reason. If you feel afraid at a very moment, maybe that can mean that you need to fight for that feeling so you can see a brighter future. No matter how good or bad things are, we need to appreciate it and to maintain a positive outlook with it. For sure, it can keep us going…

    Hi Steve,
Life has no meaning except for the meaning that we give it. I do my best to give empowering meaning to events that occur, even though I don’t always do a good job of it.

I know Victor Frankl’s story and he had to give an empowering meaning during a very difficult time in his life.

yes, Justin. That is why he’s one of my favorite stories. Those kinds of stories really help me put life in perspective and at the same time, give me someone to emulate as I create my own life experience.

Another inspirational quote from you! We can’t really control everything in our life, but we can do is to at least enjoying what we have right despite how negative things are… because for sure, time will come that you’ll eventually know the purpose why you’re placed there before.

that is the key, in my opinion, Adrian…to recognize the purpose of why we are experiencing a specific set of circumstances. :)
